Newark Alliance, Invest Newark and the City of Newark’s Arts and Education District have launched a mobile passport for visitors traveling to Downtown Newark during the NCAA March Madness basketball tournament at the Prudential Center, set for March 27-29, 2025. By engaging visitors and encouraging Newark residents to explore the Arts and Education District’s small businesses and cultural institutions, the goal is to further strengthen Newark’s reputation as a hub for dining, shopping and cultural experiences.

Visitors and residents will have a convenient and engaging map/mini-guide available at hotels, businesses and online and will include a QR code to “Newark Fan Fest” mobile pass, which will provide comprehensive details of special events, watch parties, and exclusive deals and prizes .
